As a white guy, I will order delivery and then it takes forever for it to arrive. I'll complain, they apologize and say they'll look into it and do better next time. Then it happens again and it ruins my day because I know full well it'll happen next time I order out again.

Now imagine I'm a black guy, the delivery company is the cops, and instead of my order taking an extra half an hour I'm murdered over their racism/incompetence/combo of the two.

The situation will still be the same. They'll and say "whoops, we'll try harder tomorrow. We good?" and demand to move on.

The cops have a monopoly on "food delivery" so they know they won't be held to account. How many "orders" have they screwed up at this point? Tens of thousands? Probably more. But they still can't tell their guns from their tasers and we still have to call them for delivery
