Brooklyn Center, MN police release bodycam footage of the moments leading to the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Daunte Wright
Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon calls the shooting of Daunte Wright an "accidental discharge":

“It is my belief that the officer had the intention to employ their taser, but instead shot Mr. Wright with a single bullet.”
CHIEF GANNON: "I was front and center at the protest, at the riot."

QUESTIONERS: "Don't do that... There was no riot."

CHIEF GANNON: "There was... The officers were being pelted with frozen cans of pop, pelted with concrete blocks... an officer was hit in the head with a brick"
