So are men going to start publicly acknowledging all of the paid & unpaid care work that allowed them to reach their professional success? Not just, "I just want to thank my wife for her amazing support".... I mean...
like, "my wife scaled back her successful career as a corporate attorney so i could take this job and make sure a parent was available to our kids"
or, "i'd like to thank my sister who took the lead on dealing with getting our aging dad into a nursing home so I could focus on studying during law school"
Successful women are often asked to acknowledge the people who make their lives possible. Have you ever seen a male CEO publicly thank his nanny?
