of the previous
(4th?) seen in Samut Sakhon last December when it was reported that 90% of people who tested positive had no symptoms. So why are the case numbers so high now? Well this happens when authorities start a large scale "track-trace" /2 https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2038103/samut-sakhon-locked-down-as-new-cases-top-500

as seen now in the bar hopping Thonglor cluster. Obviously it's delusional to believe that Thailand defeated the Samut Sakhon
which was blamed on Burmese and that this new Thonglor
which has been blamed on Cambodians (notice a trend here?) 3/ https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2097047/virologist-uk-covid-variant-may-have-arrived-from-cambodia

rather than the possibility that track and trace just came to a dead end. In reality Thailand's Thonglor
(I lost count) more than likely started many weeks before the Samut Sakhon cluster. The same can be said for the "1st
" seen in March 2020 which very likely 4/

started many week and months before the March 2020 shutdown. But Roach why haven't other clusters been found then? Good question and this is due to tests only being given for free to people who have been in contact with previous confirmed cases while Somchai 5/
has to pay a few thousand baht for a covid test which obviously very few people are willing to sign up for. Not only the cost is an issue but also the CCSA guideline which forces you to get admitted in hospital until you test negative like some kind of criminal. 6/
Not many people look forward to this obviously which has now become even worse with all recent PCR positive cases being admitted into so called "field hospitals" until a negative test comes back. Seems more like a prison camp if you aren't actually receiving medical treatment 7/
But if there are so many cases that are going unnoticed and covid19 is super serious why aren't hospitals being overwhelmed ? Well there are many different factors but genetics and existing immunity seem to be the main reasons 8/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7832204/
The people who got "sick" in the Thonglor
seem to be so ill (not really) that authorities have published a new list of symptoms (world's first) which are so generic that half of Bangkok probably has at least 1 of these supposed symptoms 9/

This continued paranoia in Thailand for PCR positive cases is completely baselesd as hospitals have never had large number of patients needing IC treatment and the number of deaths over the last 15 months has been totally insignificant. 10/
If there had been a "pandemic" in Thailand we would have already seen this from the IC numbers however this has never been the case nor is there any indication that this will ever happen. Thailand is still under the illusion they managed to control covid19 and seems 11/
to be following a one size fits all strategy and the ridiculous thought that they can push for zero covid. PCR is being used to justify shutdowns rather than IC admittance (remember 2 weeks to flatten curve as explained by PCR expert Kevin McKernan 12/ https://mobile.twitter.com/Kevin_McKernan/status/1320536482298384390
So the solution is simple really as Thailand was already doing this before:
Stop testing asymptomatic cases -> fewer cases -> no covid hysteria
Normality
