hot and unpopular take but I dont get why offering a design that hasn& #39;t accrued enough value on one that has is so egregious? isnt the whole point liking the design itself.. I would rather trade a design worth $100 for one worth $5 that I love than one worth $100 that i dont like
"here& #39;s a design that doesn& #39;t show much design skill nor does it appeal to your tastes at all. I commissioned $500 of art for it tho"
"I& #39;ll take it"
"Here& #39;s a design that suits your preferences"
"Blacklisted for having the audacity to offer such a peasant OC"
like... fucking... when I& #39;m looking for oc trades, I don& #39;t CARE how many capitalism bux you spent on it?? if i don& #39;t like the design I& #39;m not gonna use it?? So what& #39;s the point?? Do you people seriously care about the ~worth matching~??
oh and if we ARE going to track worth... then guess what, the hours I spent drawing the character are worth money too. a character I& #39;ve drawn 100 times is worth MORE than one I spent $10 on one commissioned piece for.
remembering when i saw someone& #39;s blacklist and it included
- offering a character worth ~300 on a character worth ~700
- "giving me" an underpriced character "without warning" (so........ they gifted you a character that... wasn& #39;t expensive enough?)
