The creator economy is random.

• The top 10% on Gumroad earned nearly 92% of the total GMV.

• Only 2% of the accounts on Twitter have 1000+ followers.

• 97% of book sales are made by just 20% of the authors.
Build like a book publisher.

Don& #39;t tunnel on one book hoping it will be a bestseller.

Publish many books instead.
Build like a music label.

Don& #39;t just record one album hoping it will top the charts.

Release many songs instead.
Build like a VC fund.

Don& #39;t focus on one start-up hoping it will be a unicorn.

Have a share in many of them instead.
You want to have a lot of options with limited downside and (nearly) unlimited upside.
You want many options, but your time is finite.

To combat this, leverage & #39;Minimum Viable Effort& #39;.
Minimum Viable Effort:

Put in as little effort necessary in order to provide value.

& #39;Laziness& #39; as a feature, not a bug.
