If the Golden Girls were on today there would be an episode where everyone is trying to convince Blanche to get vaccinated but she would insist she isn’t eligible yet because she’s so young and petite.

“Hey girls, I decided to get vaccinated anyway, my doctor told me it would be a good idea since technically I’m a caretaker to 3 older people more susceptible to the virus.”

Blanche: “I’ve always been the picture of perfect health.”

Dorothy: “A picture by who, Blanche? Salvador Dalí?”

Sophia: “THAT’S who you remind me of in that blouse, it’s been bugging me all day. Your boobs look those melting clocks.”

Rose: “Everyone in St. Olaf is getting vaccinated. They’re very health conscious ever since the Swedish Flu swept through in 1918.”

Blanche: “Honey, I think you mean the Spanish Flu.”

Rose: “No, I mean the SWEDISH Flu! Sven Ingleborger brought it back after fighting in Sweden during the war!”

Dorothy: “Rose, Sweden was neutral during World War I.”

Rose: “Not THAT war Dorothy, I’m talking about the Great Herring War!”

Dorothy: “Of course Rose, how could I forget the ‘Fish War to End All Fish Wars.’”
