This thread sums up the whole situation perfectly. However, I have my own thoughts to add, so here I am doing a thread too. https://twitter.com/ECUM10/status/1381590652606103555
I stand by most of the stuff I've said. There was a lot of contention with me using the word "stalking" and the reason for that is misunderstanding what I meant. People assumed I was equating her with people like Reylos, or accusing her of criminal behaviour.
That's not the case. I was merely stating that by looking through a woman's Instagram, including posts she was tagged in and her past jobs, she was stalking in a sense. It's not harmful in any way. It's a form of stalking most people engage in, I have no issue with it.
My problem is that she posted her research for thousands of people to see, whilst passing judgement on whether or not this woman is a good match for Cavill and making comments about "making babies so that Cavill's genes can carry on."
This, combined with her history of simping for Cavill every chance she gets, makes for some creepy behaviour. It's not her place to judge whether or not two people who she has never met are a good match, or whether or not this woman is woke.
Basically, it's her attitude with Cavill in general that creeps me out. You don't get to dismiss it as a harmless crush when you say this kind of stuff publicly like she has. I find what she did creepy, and I know other people agree with me.
If you don't, then that's fine, but you don't have to argue with me on the definition of stalking to do so.

Plus, her posting her research so publicly is worrying and can have implications that people don't generally think about.
What if someone in her audience sees her research, and decides it's okay to push the line further and uncover even more information? What if Anna determined this woman had political opinions TFM disagrees with strongly?
I have no doubt that Anna had good intentions and wouldn't do anything bad with any information she found, but when you share it publicly, especially when you're as influential as Anna, you have to consider what the people in your audience will do with the information.
You never know what kind of stupid shit people will do, so you have to be extremely careful. Online privacy is something to take seriously. Saying the information is public, therefore not an issue, is a poor defence.
You would be very shocked about what kind of information about people can be considered public information. This is why you have to be very careful with what you share online. You have to be private, because you never know what the consequences will be.
Jeb explained the security side of this in his thread better than I ever could though.

I hope you all understand my perspective on this whole situation now. These have been my takes from the start.
If I've ever phrased myself poorly and caused you to misunderstand my points, then I apologise. I like to word myself very carefully and clearly, so that you all understand what I'm trying to say. Perhaps I failed this time without realising.
Although, I do fully believe that Anna's audience have intentionally misrepresented me and flung unnecessary insults at me numerous times. That's why this thread will be my last word on this situation, unless something comes up that I feel the need to address.
I've had shit slung at me for 2 days straight and I'm sick of it. Anna's simps can frankly fuck themselves. They can shout into the void from now on, because I'm ignoring them all.
I've also received criticism from people I admire, but I believe that's just been a result of misunderstanding. I've also lost a lot of respect for certain people due to how they've approached this situation, which is unfortunate.
As for Anna, I have no respect for her. She's constantly gone after my friend Tin, even QRTing his tweet announcing his break from Twitter and letting her hordes of simps descend upon him and myself numerous times.
I'll make this clear: Anna clearly had no bad intentions with her research, but I believe she just didn't think about the potential implications of it. But her way of responding to this drama has pissed me off and I have no interest in talking to her again.
Now I'm done. These are all my thoughts laid out, and if you read it all, then I'm impressed with your patience. I hope you all understand and that we can finally put this situation (that got way too unnecessarily overcomplicated) behind us.
