basic reminders during these times right now, mostly for my fellow white folk:

donate directly to black families/people to insure the money GOES to them. If you do not donate directly there’s a 99% chance they won’t receive a penny.

don’t spread g0re or bloody images and claim it’s for awareness. Re-traumatizing does absolutely nothing and you should know that.

spread links directly after you’ve checked and confirmed them. Many black people have spoken about resource carrd issues and you Should listen and adjust. We have our place as allies.

if you cannot donate, RT and spread others direct links to support them. Once again I beg for direct links made by that person/family
