If you have extra cash in the bank that is not part of your Emergency fund or Sinking funds,

then you’re in essence keeping your money under the bed!

Keeping money under your bed and leaving it to rot, is the same as leaving money in the bank account and letting inflation rot away at it.

So if you have extra cash (not part of the Emergency fund or sinking funds) then make sure you INVEST IT so over time it actually beats inflation as well as growing your wealth
