we don’t talk enough about the weighted meaning of a statement like this from dean. it’s really him asking cas to say in the only way he knows how!!!!

once again!!!!!!! saying it without saying it!!!! he wants cas to stay so so badly and cas doesn’t get it bc dean never speaks plain

and when he does actually express exactly what he means, he can’t even look cas in the eye!!!! GOD how can you look at a character like dean and not understand that everything is a careful performance for him
