What do MLK, Joan of Arc and terrorists have in common?

You need this to inspire and attract your audience.

// Thread //
How are terrorist leaders able to brainwash massive amounts of followers?

How have common men and women in history been able to influence large groups of people to follow them?

How do these people gain the necessary confidence needed to lead people (often wealthier than them)?
Simple: their purpose.

Having a strong purpose, a clear idea of what you want, and how to get it creates an 'aura' around you.

People will feel you know where you're going and what you’re doing.

They will be tempted to follow you.
Terrorist criminals get people to waste their lives because they get hopeless people to rally around a (fake) ideal.

A purpose.

However insane or criminal it might be.

They make that purpose feel bigger than the lives of their men and followers.
Joan of Arc, a poor 16-year-old girl convinced French leadership to grant her control over the troops.

She felt it was her destiny to lead & protect France.

Her passion and her cause resonated with French citizens, who then followed her.

How? Through the power of her purpose.
Martin Luther King Jr was able to inspire millions because of his vision and purpose.

You could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice.

Go back and watch the footage.

MLK's voice and energy will quite literally move you.
That's the power and influence purpose can give you.

It makes you irresistible.

It gives you clarity in your life.

And it allows you to generate energy that never ends.
All the greatest achievers of our time all have a strong sense of purpose.

You become supremely more influential when you know what you want out of life and where you're going.

People simply sense when you're aligned in life.

You can't bullshit them.
