Effective immediately, I'm selling all my $Ada.
I do not want this to become a FUD, so I want to provide context. 1. My fundamental belief in the project has not changed. I still believe in #Cardano. 2. My decision is solely on principle.
It was brought to my attention that what #cardano is implementing in Ethiopia is a permission-ed ledger (Atala Prism). I have also learned about the genocide happening in #tigrey and to the Amharic people of Ethiopia.
As a person who has been displaced and directly affected, seen what genocide looks like I can not continue business as usual. I think that a powerful technology such as #cardano (which is what Atala is) in the wrong hands can wreak havoc on the people who already are vulnerable.

Also, I have always known about the wars and going on in the region I just always thought it was the gov. fighting again rebels, (and this is why I feel stupid). And I just always assumed that #cardano is/was shipping the permissionless and not the permissioned ledger...
to a government that is being accused of ''ethnic cleansing" a literal genocide. dealing with a prime minister that is accused of war crimes. once again...
I am livid and don't know exactly what I'm going to do. But I will start there. And I really hope, I'm wrong. I really do. But as of now. I can't in good conscience go on.
