so i’ve finished s&s and... that was a journey.

tbh, it felt REALLY long and dragging in some parts where it was just inner monologue and descriptions. however, the action scenes + reveal of nikolai as sturmhond ?? AMAZING.

so while i did really like it, there way just too much (?) of alina’s inner thoughts that i didn’t rlly need nor care abt. but if you like inner monologue w/ bits of action - then this is the book for you.

i would 100% recommend this book but after reading s&b, i had high expectations that just weren’t necessarily met with this book.
