Okay I know everyone’s going to look for the other girls so just gonna share some insight as someone who works in marketing.

And I hope you read this with an open mind. I know this can be taken as ‘not protecting the girls’ but I’m actually doing this because I’m scared for future brand deals and I’ll explain more in a bit.

Okay first, objectively speaking, the girls were chosen to promote the brand. It’s not the other way around. Of course, considering that the brand is a household name it’s going to be a bonus that the brand deal will help promote the girls too but that’s not the brand’s objective

Second, the brand has different product lines and since they got the whole group to be ambassadors, it’s most likely that they distributed different product lines to different girls. Example in my next tweet

Like maybe Ryu will model for the foundation, YJ for the eyeliner, maybe jisu for the lip products, Yn for mascara, Chaer for eyeshadow etc

Now a brand would scatter these promos. Spread them out for the contract duration and not post them all at once because why would they? If they have a whole one year contract with the group?

Strategic wise, as well, a brand would usually focus on pushing one product /line more than the other depending on the month/time. You won’t see them running different ads all at once. It’s not efficient.

Now, I could be wrong because Idk exactly what the brand is doing but all I’m saying is it’s best to give them benefit of the doubt. I bet the brand deal contract would at least be a year so there’s still a long time to see how fairly they’ll treat all the girls.

I just don’t want us to scare brands to renew contracts or maybe even new brands to offer new deals to the girls because there’s a reason why brands would usually go for individual ambassadors.

I just started to detail how it’s easier to do solo endorsers vs group endorsers but this is getting quite long but yeah I’m just gonna end this by saying, let’s try to support the girls by not costing them any opportunity losses.

To add, if we want to support the girls, we can do so by tagging the brand whenever we repost the pics from them.

That way they know theyre getting more exposure when they got the girls to promote them.

This will let the brand know they chose the right ambassadors to get more people to buy and talk about their brand/products
