If you& #39;re reading this, you already know how Twitter works but what you might not know is that it& #39;s just another game. A game of engagement and consistency.https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="✨" title="Funken" aria-label="Emoji: Funken">

At least, I got to know this a few days back. I& #39;m just telling you pros & cons of this game.
So, here are the rules of this game.https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💁🏻" title="Person mit flach gehaltener Hand (heller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Person mit flach gehaltener Hand (heller Hautton)">

You& #39;ve to build an audience and as they say, you& #39;ve to surround yourself with smart and engaging people.
Rather than jumping into details, I& #39;ll just put up few point which you must& #39;ve heard already.

- Be a consistent writer
- Don& #39;t just share news, quotes, and blogs. Add your thoughts/ insights to add value to your audience.
- Engage with people, Build Friendships, not the network.
Now, What they don& #39;t tell you are the cons.

No matter how good is twitter, It& #39;s just another social media platform where people share news, learnings, experiences, and many more things which will help you.

This might make you compare yourself with others.

How?
No. of followers is a huge metric of your success on Twitter. The more the number of followers, the more is the credibility.

Once you crack the followers game and reach around 2-5k, it& #39;s an easy game.

But how& #39;s that a disadvantage?
Many smart people don& #39;t write much and many times the same thought for which you got 2likes, someone else might get 10k likes.

This might result in anxiety and self-doubt. Or maybe you& #39;ll just end up quitting Twitter.
Here are a few reasons why you shouldn& #39;t!

Don& #39;t consider it to be a race. The people you& #39;re comparing yourself you reached there after a year or so of consistency or maybe doing something disruptive.

Just find your way out and stop comparing yourself.
That said, let& #39;s see the pros side of Twitter

It& #39;s a gateway to so many opportunities. Unlike IG or Snapchat, It& #39;s not about your appearance but about your thoughts and you can attract people with that. I& #39;ve seen people getting so many gigs out of Twitter and making friends(...)
(...)Consider it to be your diary where you write your thoughts, learnings, experiences, news, and make new friends with the same interests.

Just that, see how easy it is. Remember, I never mentioned gaining followers here!
I don& #39;t call it & #39;Followers& #39; but the & #39;Audience& #39; and audience is something which you& #39;ve to build not to gain.

(Me sounding like a Baba now, will stop here)*
Here are the names of few people I came across so far who can help you learn and grow just with their insightful tweets. Could& #39;ve written a thread on each!https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤷🏻‍♂️" title="Achselzuckender Mann (heller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Achselzuckender Mann (heller Hautton)">
