I& #39;m 24--so since I was 15 I have been watching @jackieaina on Youtube. And she has taught me a lot; as a young woman who has often struggled with her expression of femininity, Jackie is someone who has helped me gain more confidence.
One of THE MOST important lessons I have learned from @jackieaina is not apologizing for doing well; not apologizing for winning, for being successful and for wanting more. You don& #39;t need to apologize for succeeding--you worked hard, you deserve the success.
So I& #39;m editing this 1 hour video about why we need to say thank you to @jackieaina more and I got a little emotional because I realize just how much of an impact Jackie has had on my life; since I was 15 y& #39;all. 15! A BABY!
@jackieaina has made the CHOICE to be public about her success. She could have easily made her YouTube videos, launched her brand(s) and gone on about her business. What did she do instead? She launched @lavishlyjackie and invited us into her world of luxury
This is INCREDIBLY important to this movement of #blackwomeninluxury because we have yet to have someone as successful as @jackieaina be so OPEN about their luxury lifestyle. Right now, we can& #39;t even begin to understand how IMPORTANT it is that Jackie is doing this
Most Black Women (people in general) when they reach a certain level of success do not share certain things with the public; @jackieaina made a choice to share with the public because who else is doing it? What other Black Woman is doing it on the level that Jackie is??
THE TRANSPARENCY we receive from @jackieaina is enough to say "thank you." I remember Jackie talking about being in the military, her first marriage etc. etc. because that& #39;s how I was introduced to Jackie Aina.
@jackieaina doesn& #39;t owe us anything; she doesn& #39;t have to be as transparent as she is about her lifestyle. Not at all. It& #39;s not our business; but what Jackie understands (I believe) is the importance of her presence within the community she& #39;s now a member of
It& #39;s very clear that @jackieaina wallet is HEAVY and that& #39;s because SHE WORKS HARD and she also works smarter; now she could& #39;ve just collected her coins and share nothing else---she continues to share, she continues to educate and that& #39;s a privilege
How much @jackieaina shares with us is a PRIVILEGE! 100%!!! And I am thankful that she launched @lavishlyjackie to share more with us; we& #39;re going to really begin to understand how important @lavishlyjackie is very very soon; it& #39;s more than fancy bags and perfumes
@jackieaina is setting a new standard; she& #39;s documenting a new standard---and that means for all that come after her, the door has been opened and the bar set higher; and this is so so so so so important to the success of all Black peoples wanting to enter that space
@jackieaina gets up everyday and sets standard not only for herself, but for all that come after her. And that& #39;s a beautiful thing. Trust and believe when you ask for more and it is met with a "yes" it is because of Jackie demanding more. TRUST AND BELIEVE
