his dad has always encouraged him to be helpful to others and we see jin& #39;s sincerity in his actions (e.g. quietly donating to unicef for a year and only accepting the honors club membership because he hopes it& #39;ll inspire others to do good too) #진 https://twitter.com/seokjinstapes/status/992511205620273153">https://twitter.com/seokjinst...
this is a straight-forward and practical approach!

which we see in jin& #39;s preference for songwriting (as he said in his be-hind story interview). simple words can still convey complex feelings and jin& #39;s lyrics are always very heartfelt and genuine, #진
jin& #39;s dad being affection caught my attention because in general, asian parents aren& #39;t very affectionate, especially not dads (for me and my friends).

studies show children who grew up with more affection are more resilient, which we know jin is. #진 https://twitter.com/JlNSONYEONDAN/status/1193127126116917249">https://twitter.com/JlNSONYEO...
the fact that this is what jin wanted shows he already had an awareness of being part of a bigger world. likely because of his dad and that he sees his dad as someone who has an understanding of society.

role models are important in a child& #39;s life! #진

this also reminds me of when hobi shared that jin talks to him mom about finances and how he scolds her for spending too much https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit Freudentränen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit Freudentränen">

it& #39;s good for families to talk about various things (fun and serious) because these are good bonding/educational moments. #진
spending quality time together is so beneficial for children! it& #39;s wonderful that his dad prioritizes physical activity/sports where practice is needed to develop the skill.

which fosters a growth mindset and work ethic that jin is known for. #진

side note: self-compassion is a part of developing/having a growth mindset, which jin has inspired in his members.

“the theme of ‘love yourself’ show that it didn& #39;t develop overnight, but that it was started by jin inside bts.” #진

thank you for the warm response & I have a few more to add!

kids learn best through activities, like volunteer work. jin& #39;s dad taught him that they are part of a community and they can and should do their part to help.

and, more importantly, to do it with love! #진
jin said once he wants to be like his dad (i.e. daily routine of going to work/coming home) and his family has a precise routine.

routines help teach time management skills, a big part of how jin attended and graduated from university while debuting and working as an idol. #진
jin& #39;s dad likes to cook and taught jin how to cook (must be why he was so good at making egg roll on "let& #39;s eat dinner together" https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit Freudentränen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit Freudentränen">).

jin& #39;s family doesn& #39;t prescribe to the gender stereotype of women being the ones who cook. everyone in the family contributes as a team. #진
and as we all know: teamwork make the dream work. @BTS_twt #진
