Why Anjanadri , Kishkinda in Anegundi area is the actual birthplace of Lord Anjaneya.

1) Anjanadri Hill in Anegundi lies in the Kishkinda region.
It is mentioned many times in the Ramayana.

2) Anjanadri Hill has a beautiful Anjaneya temple atop.
It's also the supposed birthplace of Lord Anjaneya where Anjani Maata gave birth to the Vayuputra.
It also has one of the rocks from the Rama Setu which floats on water to this day.

3) Many places mentioned in the Ramayana are visible to this day in Hampi-Anegundi

- place where Rama shot arrows through a row of trees to demonstrate his prowess to Sugriva
- place where Vali was shot by Rama
- Cave in which Sugriva was hiding.
- Matanga & Malyavantha Parvat

4) Kishkinda is the name of the Kingdom which Vanaras ruled.
The region is a natural habitat to monkeys & bears, further bolstering the fact.

So it's high time this debate is settled with a survey and a fact finding report.
@KarnatakaWorld please take necessary actions to save our Anjanadri from being deprived of its rightful place.
