Police WILL track you down. They will. It's been shown over and over again. This thread will have tips to be permanently hidden from the police.

REMOVE THE SIM CARD.
Even on airplane mode, data off, or anything of that sort, you are still trackable. When you move-

Your phone will be directly tied to a tower and connect, allowing the police to trace you via cellular triangulation. They will be able to link your phone to your identity, and livetrack you.

BEST CASE SCENARIO: NEVER PUT IN A NEW SIM CARD INTO THAT PHONE.

Your phone has an IMEI number. This number is a personal serial code uploaded to a global database, and you are UNABLE to change it. A new / seperate card will let you get tracked once again. Whenever you connect to any cell phone device- you will send your IMEI to the carrier.
