Last summer they said white supremacists started the uprising, cops were leaving bricks, the CIA distributed fireworks. It has been a year and there is no evidence. What did happen tho was a bunch of twitter sleuths got Rayshard Brooks' partner in ATL facing decades in prison
I understand getting overwhelmed and scared by events, or feeling like people are doing things you're not comfortable with, and wanting an explanation for that. I'm sympathetic. But that's actually a you problem!
The most effective method pigs discovered for taking out movements in the 60s was accusing leaders of being police. If someone is doing something you don't like, move away, or better yet, talk to them! Ask them: why are you doing that? Hell, critique it! Say "I don't like this"
It is really cool to say "I don't like this, I think it is a bad choice, I disagree with this tactic etc." That is what being in struggle together is, being honest with yourself and your comrades. Practice saying "wow, that makes me uncomfortable" or "Im not sure about that move"
you actually don't need your opinion to be unimpeachably righteous, the _only_ right thing. We're gonna need a whole hell of a lot of different, disagreeing, disagreeable people pushing together and we're not all gonna want to do the same things. That's a strength of ours!
but when you accuse anyone, whether they're the steph curry of molotov cocktails or gandhi incarnate of doing "exactly what the police want" you break solidarity, sow distrust and suspicion, and ultimately violence. Cut it the fuck out
