i have 3 ppl in my life (including pika) who are actually diagnosed with DID. the illness sucks, it messes with your memories, your time even your relationships but then they keep riding on it as if it& #39;s trendy.
the truth is DID is extremely traumatising. PTSD fighters would know bcs these two illnesses are related. most DID patients wouldn& #39;t even realised they have someone else living in their body until ppl point it out for them
i believed them at first bcs i know how traumatising it is and i thought maybe with Pika being open about it gave them the strength to do the same hence why they chose to came out about it around the same time.

to dissociate from host to alters or from one alter to another alter is so so painful. tapi yang sakit tu host je rasa. alters can only front with triggers. example, the trauma holder akan keluar if host watch a rape scene. i dah face 3 orang with DID, semua cakap benda sama.
i& #39;m not saying it& #39;s impossible to create a system for everyone in the body but it takes a lot of time. the ppl i know tu pun, had DID since umur 6 tahun, diagnosed at 16/17 like that. now dah 24 pun still ada certain alters yg dia takboleh nak handle as host. gatekeeper tolong
