Another black man was murdered by police today, just minutes away from where George Floyd was killed.

Duante Wright was reportedly pulled over for having an air freshener obstructing his mirror.

He had a warrant. Officers tried to arrest him. He jumped in his car and tried to flee, and was fatally shot as he was driving off.

A warrant shouldn’t be a death sentence. There’s no reason to kill a man for trying to run away when you have all of his information. 2/3

I generally try to withhold judgement until bodycam/dashcam footage is released, but I’m beyond sick and tired of seeing unarmed black men killed by police.

As described, there are about 100 ways to handle that situation without taking someone’s life. 3/3
