I’ve fucking had it with social media. Freedom of speech is not the freedom to say whatever you want *without* consequences. No where outside of this app would you be allowed to racially abuse someone without severe repercussions.

The comments under Son Heung-min’s post are abhorrent. @instagram and @Twitter, more must be done to protect people from online abuse. A verification feature should be imposed for accounts. You are who you say you are. Any account that chooses anonymity can’t be seen publicly.

Something *needs* to be done because nobody should have to be reading comments like this. Absolutely fucking disgraceful.
