OK, so here's the argument for blocking anyone and everyone you don't want to hear from: The internet originally required you to search for stuff you wanted to see. If you didn't want to see something, you simply didn't search for it.
NOW: the internet (esp. social media) shows you LOTS OF STUFF AND YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT ALL OF IT. Blocking accounts that post things you're never interested in and actively never want to see...is fine.
You are not obligated to indulge anyone or anything. You can just, not interact. There is no rule that says you can't block a guy named Kyle who looks stupid. Just do it. Who cares?
So just block stuff that wastes your headspace. Just do it! No one is gonna know and even if they do find out, that's actually not your problem! Enjoy your life.
I feel like everyone forgets or potentially simply does not realise that you're not going to hurt anyone's feelings by blocking joseph39201349823509275252525252525. DO NOT FORGET. Even if you hurt his feelings, who cares, you DO NOT KNOW HIM AND IT DOES NOT MATTER.
