It wasn’t until the 7th hole that he settled in. His jacket was soaked so he took that off & really loosened up. Body language improved as did his energy level & focus. Drove the ball really well from then on. Honestly thought he was considering giving up & mailing it in.

This miss on the 17th approach was a heart breaker . He hit a great drive & had a 7 iron to this flag. He was hitting his irons so good & he was so confident standing over the ball. You could see how crushed he is by his reaction. He wanted it bad. – bei The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort
