let’s talk about some biphobia

(that i’ve seen/experienced)

• a thread by a bisexual •

- bisexual means you are attracted to BOTH men and women

- having a preference for men does not make you any less bisexual

- having a preference for women does not make you any less bisexual

- just because someone is bisexual DOES NOT mean they are more likely to cheat on you

- a woman coming out as bisexual and then dating a man does not mean they are “faking it” or “just straight”

- a man coming out as bisexual and then dating a woman does not mean they are “faking it” or “just straight”

- a woman coming out as bisexual and then dating a woman does not mean they are “faking it” or “just lesbian”

- a man coming out as bisexual and then dating a man does not mean they are “faking it” or “just gay”

- coming out as bisexual and then later realizing that you are either fully lesbian/gay does not mean you were “faking it”

- people can come out as bisexual without having to physically date/experiment with two genders first

bisexuals are 10000% valid and no one has the right to tell you that it is not.
