In January of this year, I saw a lot of people using an app of Twitter to find their valentine. So I was curious to know & Googled the name of this app and I found this article saying the Twitter's account of app was banned several times for Twitter https://geoffgolberg.medium.com/twitters-negligence-is-astounding-c15a7eb29998
One of the games used to have some malware on it. These sites need to have access to certain things related to your profile in order to function, otherwise they would not work and this is normal. But what is not normal is that most of them are abusing of it !
RoundYearFun follow people for you (without telling you this) and mute them to make you sure you won't notice it (You gave them the right to do so, but you probably haven't read what you have given to the app)

One important thing, always think twice before allowing an app on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

One more thing: You don't need to change your password. Because it's not a "regular" hack. When you granted permission, the app can't have access to your password, as it's not a phishing !
