alright friends lemme educate you on hair and the process of going blonde in regards to harry styles :) from someone who didn’t go to cosmo school but has been doing their own hair since 2009

first off!! your hair color has a number. the number corresponds to how dark or light your hair is... 1-5 are the shades considered “brown” ... 6 is not quite brown but not quite blonde either

harry is between 4 and 5 for his hair level — and a natural blonde can be considered anything from 7 to 9 i don’t believe they’ll bring him anything higher than that

now a lot of you are freaking out about his curls but you don’t need to worry!!! there is a safe way to go blonde and still maintain your curls. the method is called weaving— or getting highlights :) here is an example of me before and after

now i don’t have naturally curly hair— so i’m not a good example for the integrity of hair and losing your curl — but my mother has 3A curls (harry is a 2C or 2B) and she goes blonde to brown all the time and her hair as NEVER lost it’s curl :)

basically: harry styles can go blonde, look good, and keep his curl :)

going blonde does not mean slapping on a 40vol bleach and calling it good.
