Just finished watching HBO’s Exterminate All the Brutes over 2 days. I loved the unflinching way it told some hard truths, but Peck seemed to muddy the message a bit here and there... Especially at the end. Maybe a couple of his points went over my head?

Nvm I think my tweet answers itself. I realize now I liked the hard truths because I kept thinking “white people are gonna see this and they should” but that also explains where the storytelling devolves into “isn’t this just horrible” and nothing much else. Especially the end!
