I got started doing webinars because I was selling SaaS and I LOST MY VOICE from doing so many cold calls all day. One webinar completely changed my life.
We went from doing almost 100% outbound sales to inbound leads. Even better, new sales went up 72%.

Webinars are THE FASTEST way to build your email subscriber list. And every event you do accelerates the process. This is what I call the webinar avalanche.
Plus, your engagement goes THROUGH THE ROOF. You get the picture?

How to do it? Let’s start with the tech stack. My favorite all-around webinar platform is @meetdemio.
It’s intuitive, your attendees don’t need to download anything, and it has a lot of slick features.

If you’re just getting started or have no budget, Zoom is fine.
“But Kris, what about blah blah or blah blah?” Shut up, who cares. Stop overcomplicating things.

Next up, you need a landing page. If you have the budget, @unbounce is incredible. Their A/B testing is awesome and has the best customization options.

For email, use whatever platform you're already using (HighLevel, Hubspot, etc).
I really like ActiveCampaign. But again, don't overthink this. Now let's go to the important stuff:

A webinar has three parts:
Content
Traffic
Conversion
Let’s talk about content. We go into this into a TON of detail with our consulting clients but the TL;DR is—you’re helping them get better at their business.

Think about what your ideal customer would love to change in their business. What best practices can you give them? How do you fit in their desired transformation?

Now you need to run traffic to your webinar. Let's start with the easiest methods first:
You should ALWAYS, ALWAYS email your email subscribers. Blog subscribers, demos that flaked on an appointment, demos that showed up and didn’t buy, and so on.

Cold outreach is another great tool for webinars. I've got thousands of registrations just from cold email.
If you’re using the methods from @blackhatwizardd, @THETYFRANKEL, and @linkedin_king you should be all set.

For paid channels, it’s going to be the usual suspects: Facebook, Linkedin, Google, Youtube. Think about where your audience is and where they hang out. Linkedin is almost always the most expensive, but it can be worth it for a high LTV SaaS.

NOTE: Start with the traffic sources that are ALREADY working for you.
The #1 mistake I see with people running webinar ad campaigns is that they decide to throw a bunch of money in a channel that has never worked for them before.

“Should I do a live or on-demand webinar?”
If you’re small, you can get away with one webinar and make it into an on-demand webinar. But ideally you would have regular live events and a growing library of on-demand webinars.

For on-demand, you can use software platforms to automate the experience. Or you can embed the video onto a landing page.
Just don’t be a sleazeball and pretend that your pre-recorded presentation is live. That’s a cornball tactic from ten years ago. 15/

Ok, that's enough for you to get started. If you have questions, ask them in this thread and I'll do my best to help you. 16/
