Having children is an astronomical amount of work and cripplingly expensive, it amazes me that anyone is ever surprised that some people don’t want to do it.
I have never had the slightest desire to be responsible for another human being. And to this day I’m not. And I never will be. And that contents me greatly.
Literally — Mom can back me up — when I was a little kid, people would say shit to me like, “Well someday when you’re a mommy ...” and I’d go, “I don’t want kids.” Eight years old, like, Nah, I’m good, thanks.
Took 30 MORE FUCKING YEARS tho for people to stop telling me I’d change my mind. 
Anyway, have you heard anything I’ve ever said about my health? 0.0% chance I would survive childbirth.
I almost didn’t survive my OWN birth!
