THREAD: why I think MCU Spider-Man movies are the most accurate
First of all, obvious things: Peter and Tony are in a good relationships in the comics and Peter even do admire him in both 616 and Ultimate, just in Ultimate it's more like the MCU because of Peter's age.
First of all, obvious things: Peter and Tony are in a good relationships in the comics and Peter even do admire him in both 616 and Ultimate, just in Ultimate it's more like the MCU because of Peter's age.
The second, Peter always have fun with being Avenger and did want it in the comics to do more too. Third, Peter did go to the STEM school with science theme long before Miles in the Spectacular Spider-Man.
Fourth, he do love being Spider-Man as much as he hates it and he did think about trying to use his powers for personal reasons that aren't related to crime-fighting even after Ben's death, but like in the MCU he gets that he can just help little guy and that would be enough.
Now let's get to the small details: like in the comics, Peter was afraid of high places, but did overcome it (in the MCU it's even more heroic). Like in the comics, he do use help from the others when he can because he do live in a big world of superheroes, why not lol.
Like in the comics, he's a nerd fan of comic books, movies, shows and all of that. Like in the comics, he did take the suits, even in the start before Ben's death from other people (for example: Ultimate and Season One).
Like in the comics, he have anxiety, guilt and fears and trying to avoid his responsibilites because of that. Like in the comics (espeially Ultimate), his life is connected to the larger Marvel universe. Like in the comics, he have moments when he love his life and moments...
...when he hates it, there is no "one or another", it's both, his life is very relatable because of that. Like in the comics, he's a very smart person who use it for his own advantage in crime-fighting.
Now about villains: Vulture's life like in 616 is fucked up by businessman and like in the comics he have a family which is a big part of him because he'll do everything for his family. Like in the comics, Toomes have his moral code and sense of honor.
Like in the comics, Tinkerer made for the Vulture his suit and the look of the wings is inspired by the second version of them from Ultimate. Tinkerer is pretty typical tech guy that helps villains, so nothing different from the comics (well, except age and him being fat).
Both Shockers are pretty ok and more close to Jenkins's take on Shocker as a street-level B-list villain. Mysterio's life like in the comics is fucked up because of being fired and his huge ego. Like in the comics, he use holograms, mo-cap suit and drones.
Like in the comics, Peter is very smart guy who use it for crime-fighting. Like in the comics, MJ hide herself because don't know how to properly communicate with people. Like in the comics, Flash is a talkative guy that bully Peter.
That was pretty surface and I was kinda in a hurry, but I hope you enjoyed this thread! Thanks for reading!
My internet is so fucked up, I send these pics with a big hard.
