lol can other Asian settlers stop tokenizing Micronesia and learn more about the nuances that folks in the CNMI, FSM, and Guåhan face? Like the UN Trust Territories, role of German & Japanese colonialism, & also independence and nuclear-free movements in places like Palau?

also from my experiences growing up in Guåhan, I was taught a lot of negative stereotypes of "other Micronesians," especially Chuukese folks. Tahdong Marianas & @microchild are working on this in a Guåhan context.

Something I've been thinking about more is how Filipinos are treated in a different way in Guåhan than in the CNMI or even FSM. I've especially been struck by Filipinos from Saipan's critiques of Filipinos for Guåhan as siding only with CHamorus, which is complicated af sigh.
