For months (some longer, some shorter), those of us in & #39;free& #39; states and localities - the other side of dystopia - have been living life in ways that at least approaches, if not meets, normality.
We& #39;ve been:
* going to church in large, often maskless, non-socially distanced crowds
* eating in restaurants, maskless (some play the mask-dance on the way to the table, some don& #39;t)
* attending sporting events - some masked and some not (makes no difference)

* sending our children to school, some of which (gasp!) make masks optional and not mandatory (with no more spread than masked-up counterparts)
* allowing people to make a choice whether to don a mask outside and even (in many places) inside buildings
