The world has missed out on 10 years of Alex Whybrow. Randomly saw a clip today- Trevor Noah saying how Chappelle told him how anyone can make people laugh, but not everyone can be interesting. Alex channeled his wealth of worldliness, knowledge, and wit into Larry Sweeney. 1/5
Larry Sweeney was a labor of love, and Alex worked so hard to develop him. It wasn& #39;t just natural charisma (though no shortage there, of course); he did the work. He was constantly coming up with ideas and workshopping them, and SO MUCH hustling. 2/5
The result is, for example, walking out of a stall at the Arena and delivering this masterclass of a promo in <2 min. Please watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AT_-_NrfoZY">https://www.youtube.com/watch... 3/5
The last time we talked, Alex spoke of wanting to get out of Louisiana ASAP. He had a lot left to do on this planet. It sucks that he can& #39;t. There& #39;s a lot that he can and does still teach us, though. Let& #39;s continue holding him longer than our arms will allow. 4/5
He& #39;s easily one of the most influential people in my life. He made me feel comfortable coming into my own as an adult and rediscover my love of reading. Hard to believe that he was only in his 20s during most of our time together. Miss you, hail you, love you. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đź’ś" title="Violettes Herz" aria-label="Emoji: Violettes Herz"> #12Large 5/5
