So, here's a thing about me: I loop songs. I can listen to the same song (if I like it) dozens of times over days.
I also like fragments of some songs better than the whole, and I can loop the fragments.
I have a similar thing with poems, stories and books.
I know this may not be
exactly neurotypical, but fuck it: my time, my ears, my music, my brain.

It's not that I don't listen to playlists most of the time, but sometimes...I want to hear a particular hook or bass drop or voice inflection over and over.

With poems I don't want to memorise as much as
maybe imbibe the rhythms of the language and hope they rub off on me and show up in my writing.

So.
