Tip: If you’re sharing your story to help others, make sure you’re ALSO combining it with self-work/therapy.

Maybe it’s obvious which is why no one specifically told me but sharing your story can often just be reliving your trauma constantly.

Love yourself the way you need.
Each lockdown has made things so much worse for me mentally and it amazes me how difficult it is to get the help you need.

I’ve been on so many “waiting lists” that I’ve given up and by the time I want to try again, I’m still waiting on the list.
Private therapy is WAY too expensive and support lines can never provide the long-term care needed for many of us.

Waiting lists for state/cheaper care is too long and not even broad enough to support different people.
Finding a therapist takes time, energy, money and perseverance. Not all things we can manage by the time we need the support.

All of us need to have someone to just talk to that will listen. But more than that, all of us need to be taught the skills to manage our selves earlier.
We need to start as early as possible with helping children to understand themselves and practice therapeutic techniques. All children should have access to education AND support. Support is not guaranteed at home.
