Thinking about Hastas, Ashleshas, Snow White and the Huntsman movies Lmao.
Kristin Stewart is Hasta. She's in Snow White and the Huntsman. Charlize Theron is Ashlesha. Shes also there, she's the villain though.
So, Charlize plays the Evil Queen, stealing youth from girls to stay young and killing kings to rule kingdoms (fun stuff). She comes across Kristin who plays Snow White (not so fun), and the Evil Queen tries to kill Snow.
When Snow comes of age, she'll be the fairest of them all and the Evil Queen will lose her powers. This actually makes sense. If the Evil Queen isn't the MOST beautiful, she loses access to her power.
Like in Jennifer's Body, Jennifer has to kill boys (steal their solar light) to maintain her beauty. The Evil Queen kills girls (stealing THEIR solar light from their fathers and male ancestors) to maintain her beauty. After running out of this power source, they rot ~
And begin losing what made them an alluring, seductive, powerful being. Ravenna (le queen) even says it herself in the film "Beauty is my power"
Even in accordance with Ashlesha nature, she's disgusted with the way Snow's father defiles her before she ultimately kills him and takes over his kingdom
What we do have to bring up though is the natural purity in Snow vs the stolen/corrupted energy in the Queen.
The snake like purity the Queen looks for even comes in her taking a bath in a pure white substance and she even emerges covered in it. In her covering herself with the substance, she tries to have the substance's metaphysical properties merge with her Astral body~
Which would result in purity that she does not and cannot manifest within herself naturally.
Snow White however does have this purity naturally and it shows up when one of the animals of the Forrest chooses and trusts her.
Even then, Ravenna (le evil queen and Ashlesha) loses to her younger sister Freya (yet another Hasta)
Ravenna, through manipulative means, destroys the Solar light in Freya by killing Freya's daughter and forever closes her off the male heat and turns her into a literal Ice Queen.
At the end of the film, Freya learns what Ravenna did and then kills her. They both die, as a result of killing each other. Ravenna kills Freya because Freya didn't want the power given to her by stripping her of her child.
Freya kills Ravenna as a result the death of her first born and therefore her happiness. Ravenna literally destroys Freya's fifth house of children, happiness, and creativity, which causes her to even reject having FIRE near her.
The Fifth house can be seen as the house of the joys of love, of going on dates, stuff like that. Being in love is even ILLEGAL in Freya's kingdom. As a result of the trauma inflicted on her by Ravenna, Freya outright bans fifth house subjects in her kingdom.
She creates an army of children she's taken from their families, and tries to protect them from she understands to be the source of her pain, when the source of her pain was caused by Ravenna.
Through her own impurity and cold nature, Ravenna causes even further coldness in her sister. Ravenna removes the spouse (7h) and the child (5h) from Freya and launches her into darkness (8h), coldness (4h) and barrenness (6h).
Ravenna tries to control Freya's new children (yk, the stolen ones) and control her kingdom, which shows Freya remaining in a submissive state to Ravenna and Ravenna's coldness and impurity.
Freya is only redeemed by choosing her children (5h) over the cold ways Ravenna launched her into (6h and 8h). She still dies, but she still conquers over her sister, allowing her children (the huntsman and the others) to win over Ravenna.
