"Context loss" is a thing you know well if you've seen it. All the people who knew why a thing is the way it is are gone. All the people who have the theory of the program are gone. Maintenance is now dangerous, feature development more so.
Management causes catastrophic context loss.

Fun ways to do this:
- attempting to force culture change by fiat
- burning out teams serially
-forcing people to leave if they want raises (see also dipshit self-owns like switching to cost-of-living salaries)
- laying everybody off
