1. calling a male cc a lesbian
i thought this would be common sense. the tommy is a lesbian joke is not funny and it never has been. including a male in a male excluding sexuality is invalidating and wrong. stop saying this and listen to lesbians when they say stop.

2. relating us to aesthetics ex: cottagecore
we’re not a birdhouse, we’re a sexuality. stop saying “cottagecore lesbian birdhouse” cottagecore birdhouse is fine but why do u feel the need to say lesbian?

3. “lesbian protector”
we dont need a male protector. we dont like men. i get the intentions are good, but it’s still lesphobic and weird.

4. “whos the male in the relationship?”
there isnt one. its a non male and non male relationship.

5. invalidating nb and he/him or he/they lesbians
LESBIAN DOES NOT MEAN WLW!!! LESBIAN IS A NON MALE LOVING ANOTHER NON MALE!! STOP CHANGING THE DEFINITION!!!

6. the lack of lesbian representation

lesbians never get representation. not even pride month includes lesbians. the lack of lesbian media/art representation is sad. we’re the first letter in lgbtq somehow we’re forgotten.

7. nblm/mlm being lesphobic
i’m not saying every nblm/mlm does this, but some are VERY lesphobic. say the d slur, weird stereotypes, etc.

8. the d slur
only lesbians can say this and there is no argument behind it. if ur bi, pan, gay, queer, omni etc u can NOT reclaim this slur.

9. stereotypes
not all lesbians are masc or femme. stop saying that. also the hey mamas joke is a big masc lesbian stereotype so stop saying that.

10. fetishizing
did you know lesbian is the #1 first searched thing on the hub? yeah, that’s weird. lesbians aren't for your personal pleasure or enjoyment.

11. sexualizing the word lesbian
the word lesbian is not a cuss word or a slur. le$ dolla bean, les, lebean is weird. just say lesbian?

12. saying being lesbian is biphobic
believe it or not, this is something we’re told, i’ve even been told this because i used to be bisexual but later realized i was lesbian. i’m not biphobic i just do not like men, it just took me a while to figure that out.

13. the lesbian masterdoc trend
it’s ok to read this but only read it if ur questioning lesbian. dont read it because its a trend.

14. “you havent met a good man”
we dont like men and we dont wanna meet one either leave us alone
