it’s more likely that zhongli would find childe annoying canonly then be attracted to him romantically here’s my theory this is based off pure opinion

so childes past really is not something that should be taken lightly and although zhongli would love to try and help him get better mentally it’s more likely this would cause a lot of issues between wirh poor communication on both ends considering (1/2) (1)

that zhongli yes has a lot of experience and understanding but would find it difficult to cooperate with people who get angry and shut out those who try to help them such as childe and how childe doesn’t have the greatest communication skills (2/2) (2)

this considered as well as other things such as how childes personality is very similar to hu tao and a lot of people even see them as best friends because of it and zhongli canonly finds hu tao annoying seems a bit sus no? (rhetorical question) (3)

and zhongli purely would want to help childe from the beginning of their relationship once he realizes childe is in need of help mentally and childe would do 2 things based off his given personality 1) never be serious and always make “uncomfortable”unnecessary (4) (1/2) jokes

2) he would completely shut down if he ever DID get serious and try to push him away aggressively and basically self sabotage their relationship because he’s afraid (as a childe kinnie with some of his memories i think it’s fitting) (2/2) (5)

this being said i think it’s more likely they wouldn’t really get along well at all maybe on surface level ya kinda sure but on a deeper connection it’s less likely the possibility that they flourish and truly embrace each other is there yes it’s just slim is all (6) end thread
