Thread on normalized racism towards italian people cause ive been seeing it on my tl because of itzy and i wanted to clarify a few things as an italian !

1. Itzy should not be using "mafia" as the name of their cb because it is cultural appropriation. italians are just as POC as itzy and i will delve more into this in the thread later.

2. Italians have been discriminated against because we were italian and we have it a lot harder than asians do sometimes. every time we try to bring up normalized racism you repeat your corny racist jokes

this is why itzy should not be using Mafia as their CB name. its very offensive and culturally appropriative not to mention that the mafia are very bad people and organized crime only really exists in italy lol..

But more on normalized racism on this app you guys make a huge fuss when south asian foods are made fun of but what about when people make fun of pasta or pizza? or call us mario? i dont ever make fun of ur curry so why do u do the same to us?
