Here is the brief summary of last twitter incident.

1. Many twitter user got the link of a tweet by bakugouvie in DM.

2. That tweet contains a link and it tempt people to click on that, to increase followers.

3. That link pick a random domain name from a specific list and redirect user to another site through that domain.
That domain can be freeaddme[dot]us , bestfollwers[dot]in, followplanet[dot]us forfollow[dot]net or anything else.

4. That site ask user to authorize it with twitter and promises to provide regular new followers with two option (Free and premium subscription). It's doesn't tell aything about the working of the app except a small button to see the terms of the App.

5. After the authorization , that App gets the access to post , delete tweets , read and send direct messages and to do many other such things from your account. And it starts it's job immediately without making a single noise to you.

6. Firstly the app sends the link of that tweet (mentioned in point 2) to your every follower and post a tweet with the same link by your handle.

7. Now you start getting followers from the infected accounts like yours. Those accounts are also controlled by the App and the app follows you in the behalf of that person.

8. After some time App starts to post promotional tweets and add stories automatically on your handle.

9. Your followers gets the link in DM as mentioned in point no.6. They also click on the link, authorize the app and contribute in this chain.

10. All of the above domain in point no. 3 are registered on the name of AHMET RIZA KORKUT, Amasya, Turkey

Everything was unexpected for the users who authenticated and because of this ,the experience of users as well of their followers got diminished by the app. So I request @Twitter @TwitterSupport to look into the matter , review that App and take appropriate action against it.
