its so weird seeing fans try to warm ppl to edens zero by calling it "fairy tail done right" because... fairy tail was fairy tail done right. to refer to it as just a stepping stone in mashima's artistry to get to the 'real quality' seems... disrespectful

and what sucks is comments like this are mostly made by ppl that are fans of both series who are desperate to distance ez from ft's negative reputation and prove its worth. yall i get we want the series to be big but... its not worth lying to strangers on the internet over

and these "ez>ft" comments are usually targeted toward ppl who just hate mashima as a writer so... why do you guys think its a good idea to convince them to watch ez? can't emphasize how bad of an idea that it is, especially when u know half of them will just watch in bad faith
