To the people crying the localized DGS names are problematic, C/apcom Japan localization department is in Osaka, which is where Janet Hsu works. Their localization team works with the JP branch.
This isn't specifically just for AA or C/apcom, but many companies these days communicate between each other when it comes to localization. People claiming the localize DGS names are problematic forget they still need to go through/work with the JP branch during+
the localizing process. Now you don't have to like their name choices. I have a few I don't like either, but calling them r*cist against JP or problematic makes zero sense when it's a team effort between EN and JP branches.
So yes, you have a problem with something in the localization, then you got to look at not just EN, but JP side of things who also ok it. There is usually never any ill-intent in localization decisions, only ignorance or lack of knowledge.
