I have fo you an itemized list of why these takes are incorrect :) https://twitter.com/squidcxndy/status/1381002474560106499">https://twitter.com/squidcxnd...
1. C!Phil walked into a room, after having no contact from his (reminder, 40 y/o) son for an undisclosed amount of time, and discovered him about to destroy the country he& #39;d been building, and telling Phil about. He tried to talk him down, but C!Wil blew it up anyway. +
TW// suicide
Phil was now stood in front of his son, who had destroyed a country. His son begged him for death, and Phil, again, tried to talk him down. Wil insisted it was the only way, saying everyone else wanted him dead, too. Phil, having no context for the situation +
Took his son at his word, and made his death as quick and painless as he could.
Reminder, btw; C!Phil is an emotion-lead person, with no prior experience in deescalation tactics. You seem to think talking down a suicidal person is far easier than it really is.
2. True, gov isn& #39;tthicker than blood. But trust is. If family hurts you (cough, Fundy destroying his house and assisting in the execution of C!Phil& #39;s best and oldest friend, cough) and you feel like you can& #39;t trust them anymore, it is a fair reaction to cut ties with them. +
You don& #39;t have to support someone just because you& #39;re related.

3. I literally don& #39;t even know who this is referring to. He has never set himself up as a mentor figure to anyone, in his entire time streaming on DSMP. Is there some stream of another character deciding Phil is +
their mentor? Because that is not Phil& #39;s fault. If someone set him on a pedestal, he isn& #39;t to blame when he eventually falls off.

4. Do you mean that one time he mentioned Ranboo having bad memory would make it easier for him to keep the syndicate a secret? Because +
Cc!Phil did explain it poorly, sure, but that& #39;s all it was?

5. Fundy has to prove himself because what he did really hurt Phil. Tubbo "will be dealt with later". Ranboo gets a pass because of his memory problems, and the fact he has trouble knowing who his friends are.
6. His family is who he trusts. That is the syndicate. Blood =/= family.

7. He had no way of knowing what Dream has done. Tommy never told him about it. And Ghostbur isn& #39;t a child. He& #39;s a forgetful fragment of a 40 y/o man that Phil can& #39;t even tell is his son anymore.
8. The sheep? The one Ghostbur moved to Phil& #39;s house without telling him? The mob that Phil has never shown any connection to? The one Dream moved to the bunker to use as leverage against Ghostbur? THAT Friend?

9. Ghostbur consistently ignores any attempts to broach subjects +
He thinks are sad. Who else is he supposed to talk to about it? The two traumatized teens? His grandson, who just lost his father (and then betrayed him)? His best friend, who has bad memories of Pogtopia? Maybe he just decided to not dredge up to bad things, and let his son& #39;s +
friends recover before broaching the subject. Or, and here& #39;s a hot take, maybe he was still getting over the fact his son is now dead??

10. This has little to nothing to do with being a bad dad, but I& #39;ll humor you. He killed his son for destroying a government because +
through the letters he& #39;d been receiving, the country had been hyped up. It had been a place Wil was proud of. So when Wil& #39;s letters stopped coming, and Phil visited, only to find his son about to destroy it, he tried to stop him. Then, after his son was dead, again, because +
L& #39;manberg had been hyped up as a good place, he stuck around. He spent time among his son& #39;s friends. With his grandson.
And then this government come into his house, demanding he give up the location of his oldest friend. They broke his windows, rifled through his possessions. +
Then, they took the compass, clamped an ankle monitor on him, and traveled to his friend& #39;s home. His friend, who had declared he was swearing off violence and going into retirement. They attacked this friend, and when they started losing, they took his horse hostage to make +
him comply. They dragged him to a "trial", where they executed him without giving him a chance to plead his case. He was forced to continue wearing the ankle monitor and kept under house arrest, disallowed from visiting his friend to make sure he was okay, not even allowed +
to visit any of the other places he lived.
When he was finally free of that government, he agreed with Techno that it was corrupt, and when asked during Doomsday(by Jack) when he had stopped liking government, he said "when I was forced to kill my son, you IDIOT.", showing +
he had killed his son specifically for L& #39;manberg, a government that he was iffy about from his first day on the server, which then proved his wariness correct.
