How to survive merciless mode in Persona 5 Strikers: (A jail by jail guide on what you should and shouldn’t do.)

This thread has been made to help others learn and know what to expect about the toughest mode in strikers.

{In this thread of posts, I’ll be given out some tips on surviving the jails and getting through to the end, the teams you’ll use, personas to bring, and items needed to help. If done well, you can survive the run with a few deaths or less. QRT any suggestions you might have.}

Now before starting merciless, make sure you take the following personas: Arsene, Lucifer, Metta, Alice, Mara, Trumpter, Thor, Norn, third last persona on the compendium, and Black Frost.

They’ll be useful to drain and null effects.

Now at the start of the game after unlocking your team, make sure you have Ann, Morgana and Wolf.

Other than the first two being heavy elemental attackers, Wolf can help debilitate enemies.

Give Ann as much gun amp and the mind control spell/ailment sp with her kit.

Salvation on Morgana and helps with AOE attacks.

For jail rules: Strike certain enemies and use the frozen time out of fights to get a head start to the nearest pin point.

Use combos and not SP until it’s a main fight or for emergencies.

Before or after any keep, boss or any oracle stations, save. One mess up or you’ll be screwed.

Always leave and re-enter the jail when you can.

Also, side note: All characters that are viable and can be switched out. But for this sakes, having Joker with each elemental persona can be useful.

Equipment:
All characters must have their ultimate skills and weapons.
Males: super Karna’s golden clothes
Females: super titanium corset
Morgana: super Glorious collar

Joker: Futaba’s charm
Morgana: an SP increase
Ann: gun band
Ryuji: wind resistance
Yusuke: HP increase
+

Makoto: PSI resistance (High)
Haru: Gun damage or nuke resistance
Futaba: 50 HP increase
Sophia: Showtime gauge increase
Wolf: HP increase.

Bands to have maxed or gotten up to:

Incenses for HP:
Futaba, Wolf, Yusuke, Joker and Ryuji.
SP: Morgana, Makoto, Haru, Joker, and Sophie.
