i don’t know how many more women have to be killed brutally for privileged men to acknowledge that feminism is needed and the disparity between men and women have to be bridged
because so many men and boys i know refuse to even acknowledge this is a problem at hand. so many men always wanna say “show me statistics”, “men can’t cry, men don’t get the child in divorces, men are killed too, men have to earn” bhai this is all happening because of patriarchy
you only speaking up to defend “not all men” or “men are trash” is doing NOTHING except show everyone how callous to your privilege you are.
to be honest, what’s upsetting is your refusal to even acknowledge a problem is at hand, even if you don’t do anything about it lol. i’d rather you don’t do anything about the subject instead of defending the fact that women aren’t largely suffering and are oppressed
just because you live in a small urban minority community of rich people where girls can thankfully be educated and live better lives doesn’t mean that women out there aren’t oppressed. so sit tf down with your “i’ve never seen that happen so i can’t vouch with it”
the sheer fucking entitlement and audacity that some men have is enough to start combatting this issue so that ppl first know there’s a problem at hand lol. let’s solve it after. i hate when you don’t even wanna believe this is a problem.
and also, feminism is about equality ya but you have a skewed definition of equality if you think men not being able to cry or wear skirts even equates with the amount of rapes, murders, stifling of women that take place.
when a messy unkempt house is burning the residents worry about putting down the fire before they start cleaning up the mess in the house. sorry for the lame example but your issues will be dealt with in due time when you start dismantling patriarchy
ur issues are stemming from the SAME source that ours are. this is a double edged sword. stop hitting the hammer on ur own feet and blaming someone else for it.
u all wanna hate on feminism because there are a couple of extremists out there who present a totally different take and then squash on it but when a majority of men rape and murder it’s “not all men” make it make sense dude
if u acknowledge it atleast the next generation and the generation after will be better and maybe we’ll fix it in time. tumko maanna hi nahi hai ki ye ek problem hai. solutions let’s worry about later first u atleast acknowledge this is a problem ya
