We bought a house last month in one of the hottest cities in the US during one of the hottest housing markets in decades.

Here’s what went down

I’m going to start this thread off by saying we were incredibly lucky.

Just insanely incredibly lucky.

BUT we were intentional about a few things that I’ll explain later.

My spouse and I (M) had a somewhat flexible budget, but we started our search with pretty strict parameters.

3/4 beds, 2 or more baths, some yard, no ranches.

We also wanted to be within 15-20 mins of the city center, but we were fully prepared to give on this.
